About Us
Welcome to the Modern School of Latin. We are a group of teachers who deliver first class tuition in Latin all over the world.
Most teachers have a passive approach to Latin. Their only aim is to facilitate the reading of classical texts. We do more than that: We teach Latin as a language of modern communication. Our mission is to build a bridge between the classical and the modern use of Latin.
The demand for Latin is increasing. Most people learning the language are lawyers, doctors, theologians, historians, linguists and intellectuals. Latin is also useful for mathematicians, philosophers, free thinkers, journalists, humanists and artists. Even businesspeople can profit from Latin: Every trade has Latin or Latin-based expressions.
